So last year we planted around 150 strawberry plants in a section of the garden that was where our chicken coop was. We knew they were only there for a season to mature and to be replanted in some raised beds that I wanted to build.
So we built one box last year. This winter for the other I’ve been hitting with a solid white color stain to match our fence. Hopefully by the end of April it will be complete in place and filled with soil ready to accept our anxious strawberry plants. They are 4 feet wide by 32 feet long.
From my experience, strawberry plants usually come in bunches of 25. With 150 plants its safe to say we are covered.
