SEASON 1 – EPISODE 3 This is the final chapter in our 3 part session with the father and Son team of Paul & Justin Schur at Grand Maple Farms in New Braintree, MA

Summer 2023: All cover crops this year as we continue the house restoration. Keep checking back as we plan on loading some progress pictures
January 2021: So much to do, so little time. Working on the house restoration, planning the farm layout.
July 2020: Farmhouse restoration continues. We are just about done with our 1st floor bathroom and are getting ready to have the fireplace in the parlor (Tavern Room) re-built.
June 2020: To name a few Tomatoes, Peppers, Sunflowers, Potatoes are doing great. Not to shabby for 1st season on property.
March 2020: Many seeds have been started indoors. We’ve prepared 20 planting beds and intend to start planting cool weather crops in them soon.
December 2019: We’ve ordered 900 Christmas tree seedlings to plant next spring
October 2019: We planted 18 varieties (25 pounds) of Garlic. This will be our stock from which we will plant again in 2020
August 12, 2019: Our Farm Our Food has put down new roots in our forever property! It’s Official we now own a 115 Acre farm that has its beginnings over 200 year ago.
March 2019: This Saturday we are heading up to Grand Maple Farms in New Braintree, MA for an Open House at their Sugar Shack. They will be open 11A.M. to 4P.M. 3/16/19 & 3/17/19. Please go visit them!
February 2019: We are working towards getting our place sold and in the meantime starting some plants from seed to plant on our New Farm.
January 2019: So we decided to pull the trigger on buying a farm. Our property, the place where Our Farm Our Food came to life is on the market!
December 2018: Well we’ve come across an opportunity of a lifetime. We stumbled across an old family farm that is for sale, stay tuned.
Fall 2018: Garden done for the season, time to mull over what we learned and plan for next season
August 2, 2018: This weekend its potato digging time.
July 28th 2018: Planted more Soybean, Bush beans and stated Brussels Sprouts
March 17, 2018: Its that time of the year again. We started last weekend. Onions, Leeks and Rice to name a few
